At Wiggles and Wellness, we believe every child’s journey is unique and every wiggle is a win. From breastfeeding challenges to early movement milestones, we guide families with warmth, evidence-based care, and gentle encouragement every step of the way. Wiggles and Wellness is where compassionate care meets developmental growth, because every child deserves the chance to flourish.
Some babies are born with tightness throughout their bodies and restricted oral tissues (often called tongue or lip ties). These restrictions can make feeding challenging and uncomfortable for both baby and parent.
Wiggles & Wellness takes a whole-body approach to care. Our physical therapy treatment focuses on releasing tension, both in the body and in the mouth, to support improved feeding skills, comfort, and coordination.
Feeding is an initial motor stepping stone in a baby’s development, and with gentle, targeted therapy, families often see remarkable progress. With guidance and support from Wiggles & Wellness, parents gain the confidence and tools to continue nurturing their child’s growth, development, and well-being.
Wiggles & Wellness therapies help babies and toddlers build the strength, coordination, and confidence they need to move, explore, and play alongside their peers. Some children experience delays in their gross motor skills - things like rolling, crawling, sitting, or walking - that can make movement feel harder than it should.
Wiggles & Wellness therapies focus on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of these challenges, such as muscle tightness, weakness, or movement asymmetries (like torticollis or uneven rolling). Through gentle, play-based sessions and family-centered guidance, we support each child in developing age-appropriate motor skills that set the foundation for lifelong movement and participation.
With advanced training through Milk Matters Academy: Tongue Tie Scholars, I provide skilled support for babies with oral ties, focusing on whole-body function and gentle, family-centered care.
A graduate of High Point University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a background in exercise science, I combine deep clinical knowledge with a compassionate, hands-on approach. I believe that early therapy not only supports feeding and comfort but also lays the foundation for a child’s lifelong movement and development.
